PUU Algebra and Precalculus website/CalendarPrecalculus SyllabusIn this course, the fascinating and interconnected topics of precalculus are presented conceptually as well as in the form of real-world applied problems. The course begins with a review of algebraic fundamentals before branching into trigonometry, complex numbers, exponential and logarithmic functions, systems of equations and inequalities, sequence and series, analytic geometry, and probability. In the second semester we focus on analytic trigonometry. Our textbook is “Precalculus – Mathematics for Calculus”, third edition, by Stewart, Redlin, and Watson. EMAIL: CMARTIN@MVPCS.ORG |
