May 11, 2012 News from the Kindergarten Dear Parents, Please make sure that your child has an extra set of clothes for his/her cubby…a t-shirt, undies, and shorts/pants would be great. Thanks. We are scheduled to visit Polly Hill Arboretum on Tuesday, May 15th. We will be discovering how plants and trees change in the spring season and enjoying the many flowers that bloom. We will also be using hand lenses so that we can look closely inside each flower. Next week we will begin to plan for the Wedding of Q and U. These two letters will be joined together forever in phonetic unity on June 1 at 2 P.M. It is a sweet event not to be missed. We will send along details in next week’s newsletter. We are also planning our annual fishing trip on the Skipper for sometime toward the middle of June. We will keep you posted as we work to firm of the date. Lastly, please join us for the Kindergarten Potluck Picnic which will be held on June 12 at 5:30. This is a time each year where the outgoing Kindergarten class welcomes the incoming Kindergartners and their families to our community. We would love for as many families as possible to attend. Please try to make it.
